MLA Janis Irwin dropped by Boyle McCauley News‘ AGM on November 8th to present me with the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal to honour my work as a with the paper and my documentary photography of Edmonton’s activist scene. I didn’t even know I had been nominated until Janis called me a couple of weeks ago to tell me the news. To say I am honoured and humbled is an understatement.
